Excellent drink, the closest you’ll get to an alcoholic drink

Was genuinely surprised that this has a real taste of whisky, nice subtle flavour without being over powering and without the hangover

I bought this on the same day my husband bought a 6-pack of Canadian Club whiskey and ginger ale canned cocktails. I tried both, and I think I preferred this one. Genuine ginger beer gives it a bite, and somehow they managed to coax some smoky scotch or Irish whisky flavours in there too. Will definitely buy again.

Highball Alcohol Free Cocktail Ginger Dram. It is the start of the weekend so kick it off with a cocktail I say! I quite like these little bottles. Simple sophistication with some delightful gold lettering with a touch of art deco design. I was genuinely surprised by this. It really does smell like whiskey and ginger to the point that I did double check that it was alcohol free. I love the way this fizzed over the ice in my glass with the bubbles jumping around excitedly. The colour is light and golden, and I am in excited anticipation to try it. Ginger Dram does not disappoint in any way. The taste starts sweet and turns to glorious, fiery ginger and then to the whiskey-type kick at the back of the mouth. Obviously, it isn’t whiskey, but it is the ghost of whiskey, the spirit as it were. It’s there, it’s fleeting and it’s very intriguing. I would be really interested to know how they achieved such parallel (do tell us if you read this Mr and Mrs Highball). This is a grown up, sexy drink that I can imagine sipping on the Côte d'Azur or in my local (as soon as it opens) in front of a roaring fire. It’s a big hight five for Highball from me.
